Feeling Very Frustrated
Dec 08, 2002

Over the past three years my husband and I have had six miscarriages. Early on in our quest to become parents we were told that my husband had a balanced translocated chromosome (#12 and 14) and that our chances of having a healthy baby were lower than that for other couples. This summer we decided to try IVF with PGD but the cycle was cancelled because they couldn't retrieve my eggs. We are now trying to decide if we should continue to naturally have a child, adopt an embryo that could be implanted in me or if we should adopt. We are very frustrated. We've been married for six years, I am 36 and my husband is 34.
