Feeling Lost
Oct 08, 2002
I am a woman of 43 years of age. I miscarried in my 7th week. The day I miscarried, I drove myself to the hospital, only to get lost. I could not get in touch with my family. I came home after a hectic day, after I knew I was pregnant. I tooke 7 pregnancy test, plus a blood test before I was convinced I was pregnant.
I went to the hospital and found out indeed I know longer was pregnat. When I came home, I miscarried in the toilet, not the hospital.
This was my first miscarriage, and at my age (43) this was a blessing from God. Unfortunately, it was not to be. "They" say that most miscarriages happen in the first trimester. Most of the time it's your body telling you there is something wrong with the fetus. Usually, genetic. I was willing to go the distance. I had an appointment with a genetic counselor and everything.
After my miscarriage I was so tired all the time and could not understand why. I found out that this is normal.
Tonight, my husband and I had sex for the first time since Sept. 7th. It is now Oct. 8th. I am so afraid of going through that again. I can't go on the pill because of cancer issues, and my husband has never worn a condom before. I meant to buy them at the drug store this weekkend, but I forgot and he was too embarressed.
Anyway, after sex this evening, I went to the bathroom and wiped myself and there was a little blood. I had a normal menstrual cycle after my miscarriage. What is this, and should I be concerned?
Someone please reply. Thank-you
