Hi All
Hope no-one minds.... I really wanted to be able to do something to commemmorate the 10th Heavenly Birthday of my firstborn son, Scott Ian, who sadly gained his Angel Wings at 16 weeks gestation due to Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome...
I have created a few short verses that I would like to share here, in honour of my first little soldier:
For Scott:
I never really expected,
On that cold,autumnal day,
That God would whisper out your name,
And let you slip away.
Still nestled deep inside me,
All quiet and fast asleep,
I'd never get to know you,
You were never mine to keep.
Your tiny face I never saw,
Or baby eyes of blue,
I never had an image,
I could cherish in memory of you.
Yet deep down I know you're always there,
Every single day,
In that special corner inside my heart,
And there you'll always stay.
Cherished memories of my firstborn, my Angel Scott Ian, October 23, 1992. Hope you are looking after your little baby brother, Elliott. Mommy misses you so very much, cupcake, and promises to hold onto your for eternity when I meet you again. Love, hugs and kisses for ever and ever ~ Mommy xxxxx.
