My Beautiful Angel, Tayelor Ann
Jan 26, 2002
On August 25, 2001 I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Tayelor Ann. She had a head full of brown hair and the most beautiful baby I have ever seen. She was perfect!! I was released from the hospital 3 days after I had my emergency C-section. My husband and I took our Tayelor Ann home. Three days after we left the hospital is when Tayelor became very sick. My mom took us to the emergency room, because I could drive. We were then taken to a larger hospital that could handle babies. At that hospital is when my husband and I found out that Tayelor was born with a congential heart defect. The next morning at 2:30 a.m. my daughter and husband were taken to Dallas Children's Medical Center where Tayelor would undergo heart surgery. My family and I arrived at 7:00 a.m. the same morning. Tayelor finally under went surgery that afternoon about 2:30 p.m. The surgery went well, but now we had to wait and see how the heart would react or maybe the damage was already done. Tayelor improved for about 2 days, then just really stayed the same didn't improve or didn't get worse. Six days later she under went a second heart surgery to fix the left value in her heart. She never got better. Five days later my husband and I had to decide to let her go home to God. That was the hardest thing I had to ever do in my LIFE. Our family was around us while I held her to the end. She was my angel and now she was our guardian angel in heaven.
I miss her so much there are days I do not think I am going to get through the day. I want someone to blame for my pain and taking my daughter away from us. She was my first born and I never would believe that this would have happened to us.
I just want to hold her and smell her and tell her how much we miss her. Every week I go out to the cemetery and talk to her and cry and ask God why He took my daughter.
