The Road of Grief
Nov 09, 2002
The Road of Grief
LindaC
Somewhere another mother is crying.
She has just heard her child is dead.
A heart wrenching scream fills the air.
The mourning has now begun.
Another mother must travel the long, lonely path.
She is about to enter a lifetime of pain.
She will join the band of other sufferers.
Her life will never be the same again.
We band together to draw comfort and support.
On our good days we can be the givers.
On our bad days we are the takers.
We have become a family in grief.
Another mother joins our ranks.
She is taken where she didn't want to go.
She will learn how to handle each day of despair.
She will become one more fellow traveler
On the road of grief.
