A soft smile to warm my heart.
A hand held to give me strength.
A card when I most need it.
A hug that shows you care.
i grieve but i am not alone.
I have friends to see me through.
Their love and care give me courage.
And the strength to carry on.
It is in the quiet little things
That i find peace and comfort.
These things mean ever so much more to me
Than all the nicely spoken words.
It is what is in your heart that counts.
I know that you truly care.
Your hug pulls me through the darkest hours
And I can live again.
Friends are truly life's riches.
They give meaning to our days.
They are with us in our struggles.
I thank God that they are there.
