An overflowing mailbox.
A phone that never quits ringing.
So many friends in the beginning.
Now only the true remain.
I know how difficult it is for them.
To deal with all of my emotions.
They don't know how to help me.
But they try, Thank God they try!
It is enought that they listen.
It is enough that they care.
I cling to each person
And find a solace there.
My grief to others now is old.
They feel I should be moving on.
They think I just need to get over it.
My grief is uncomfortable for them.
When you find a friend who truly cares
Hold on to the strength they give.
Appreciate and cherish them
And count yourself truly blessed.
