Our Little Molly Violet
In the early morning hours of November 11th I felt amniotic fluid leaking. When I checked, it was stained with blood. I was 7 months along. When we got to the hospital we found out our little girl was gone. The Tuesday before I went in because I didn't feel her move much. The heart beat was fine and they told me to go home, but for the rest of the week I still didn't feel her move much. I knew something was wrong.
We named our little girl Molly Violet after my best friend and my grandmother. She has a big brother Tucker who will never know her. We don't know why this has happened. It is very painful right now because it only happened a week and a half ago. In addition to this, I found out that I have to have a D&C because there may be some placenta still left inside. I am so afraid we won't have any more children because of infection or scarring. It was easy for us to get pregnant. I hope that we can have more children. It will be devasting if, for some reason, we cannot. I don't know if there was something I did to make this happen. We are having an autopsy done but I know that might not yield any answers. We have such a great support network and they are truly helping us. I don't know that I will ever get over this, though. It is truly the worst thing that has ever happened to us.
