They steal young life away.
They leave behind an empty void.
They fill a parent with grief.

Dreams will never be realized.
A life has been taken away.
Hopes of a brighter future,
All this is taken away.

Drugs kill.
A parent is left with immeasurable pain.
Life for others beams brightly,
But for them only sorrow remains.

Drugs kill.
They cause a parent to grieve
They must live in agony
Another victim of drugs.
